A very warm Welcome to Thailand

Thai Airways International and the Tourism Authority Of Thailand are very pleased to co-host the "Invitation to Visit Thailand Year 2009", along with all sectors in the tourism industry in this country. We are delighted to see all of you here with us tonight, in the Land of Smiles.

As a national carrier, THAI makes every possible effort to support the Government and the Tourism Authority in tourism promotion. We are the best equipped to do this. Our link with 20 other Star Alliance partners gives us a huge opportunity to connect inbound passengers to Thailand, conveniently from every corner of the world.

Our General Managers and staff in our overseas offices are the first point of contact for most of the visitors to Thailand. They have all been very active in helping support this initiative in the countries you have all come from.

In supporting the "Invitation To Visit Thailand Year 2009" initiative. THAI has taken two major steps: offering the "Amazing Thailand Fares" and reducing the fuel surcharge on international and domestic flights. Both were effective since the First of October this year.

We are pleased to announce today that THAI is offering an "Amazing Thailand Fares" from the 1st of October through to 31st of March next year. The fare will be worth 150 US Dollars for a three flight coupon to fly anywhere within Thailand. An extra coupon will cost 60 US Dollars. "AmazingThailand Fares" are available at THAI offices worldwide, in conjunction with a purchase of THAI’s international flight ticket to from via Thailand.
